This month, Dr. Brian Druker, director of OHSU’s Knight Cancer Institute, spoke with clients about a world freed from the burden of cancer. Dr. Druker has received numerous awards for his work in developing the drug Gleevec®, a breakthrough treatment for chronic myeloid leukemia. Oregon is now leading the world closer to a cure for cancer with support from the successful Knight Cancer Challenge fundraising campaign.
