Samantha Pahlow, CTFA, AWMA®, serves as chair of the wealth management committee and is senior vice president and portfolio manager. She is also a member of the firm's management committee and shareholder of the firm.
Samantha joined the firm in 2018 and is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®). With over 15 years of experience in finance, she helps clients manage and protect their wealth through thoughtful wealth planning and sound investment counsel.
Before joining Ferguson Wellman, Samantha worked as a private wealth director at Riverview Trust Company and as a wealth advisor for Wells Fargo Private Bank. Prior to her career in wealth management, Samantha was a practicing CPA at Pittman & Brooks and Moss Adams LLP.
Samantha earned her B.S. in business administration and accounting from Portland State University, graduating magna cum laude. She is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Portland, the Financial Planning Association of Oregon and Southwest Washington, the American Bankers Association and Portland Women in Finance. She currently serves as vice chair of the board of trustees for Portland State University Foundation and as a board member for the Estate Planning Council of Portland. She previously served on the boards of Providence Children’s Health Foundation and Young Audiences of Oregon and Southwest Washington and as an accounting and finance mentor in the Portland State University Mentorship Program.
Samantha is a native Oregonian. Along with her husband and two children, she loves reading, exploring the beautiful outdoors and the Oregon food and wine scene, as well as travelling with friends and family.
