Charissa Anderson, CFP®, CDFA®, is a senior vice president and portfolio manager. In 2017, she joined West Bearing Investments, a division of Ferguson Wellman. Charissa is a CERTIFIED FINANICAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP®) and adheres to a disciplined approach and process to fully understand her clients’ goals and then provide the best financial and investment counsel. In 2020, Charissa earned her Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) certification. A CDFA® professional is a financial professional skilled at analyzing data and providing expertise on the financial issues of divorce. Charissa is a member of the company’s practice management and wealth management committees, and is a shareholder of the firm.

Prior to joining West Bearing, Charissa was a private bank advisor at Umpqua Private Bank for six years, providing wealth management solutions for high-net-worth individuals. She earned her B.S. in psychology from Portland State University and her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation and Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Portland. Charissa serves as vice chair for the Oregon Zoo Foundation and on the investment committee for Multnomah Athletic Club.

In her free time, she and her husband enjoy spending time with their young children, traveling, discovering Portland’s dining scene and exploring the Pacific Northwest outdoors.
