Alex Harding, CFA, joined Ferguson Wellman in 2017 and is vice president of equity research and portfolio management, serving as an analyst and member of the firm’s investment team. In his role, he covers the consumer discretionary and financial sectors. Alex works with clients concentrated in Portland and throughout Washington, Oregon and Colorado and is a shareholder of the firm.

Prior to joining Ferguson Wellman, Alex worked as a platform specialist for tru Independence and for Martin Capital Partners in an operations and client service role. He earned his B.S. in business administration from the University of Oregon. Alex currently serves on the Ambassador Board for First Tee - Greater Portland.

In his free time, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, golfing, and skiing.
